Creativity: the key to breakthrough changes, how teaming can harness collective knowledge
Article Abstract:
A practical methodology in building a new, team-based problem-solving system in an industrial concern is described. The management team to be formed must have foresight, it must be empowered and its objectives must be clear. The team approach can function best when applied to a 'flat' organization, an organization in which multilevel teams adjust their skills in building effective teams. An important component in the success of the team-based approach is the implementation of initial and continuous education and training programs.
