The effect of urban hospital closure on markets
Article Abstract:
The effect of closure of urban hospitals has shown an increase in operational efficiency of surviving hospitals, teamed with an increase in treatment cost. This has brought about a realization that a decrease in treatment cost would be more effective in increasing inpatient admissions.
