The severity of the Colombian conflict: Cross-country datasets versus new micro-data

The treatment of Colombia in large cross-country conflict datasets is compared with the information of dataset on the Colombian conflict (CERAC). There exists a strong tendency by the big datasets to record fewer killings as compared to CERAC.
