Ethnic diversity, issues and international crisis dynamics, 1918-2002
Article Abstract:
A study aiming to link ethnic conflict at the state level and its spillover to international conflict and crisis is presented. The findings suggest that ethnic conflict increases the intricacy and danger inherent in international crisis and extends crisis duration, increases the level of its violence, and impedes accommodative crisis outcome.

Separatism as a bargaining posture: the role of leverage in minority radicalization
Article Abstract:
A scale indicator of minority radicalization against the center is developed to test the theory that minority demands are a function of bargaining leverage against center. Minority claims are said to be function of relative bargaining power between the minority and center.
