Pardon, punishment, and amnesia: three African post-conflict methods

A study is conducted to view the different post-conflict methods employed by Rwanda, South Africa and Mozambique. The reasons behind the holding a truth commission, to prosecute through trials in these countries is evaluated.

Democratisations in Africa: attempts, hindrances and prospects

The different postcolonial democratic experiences in Africa are discussed considering four sub-Saharan countries. It allows the evaluation of options to the dominant Western model of liberal democracy.
