Russia's non-strategic nuclear forces
Article Abstract:
The Russian government has demonstrated its intention to retain the non-strategic nuclear weapons it inherited from the former Soviet Union. Some analysts have advocated the US encouraging Russia to reduce these weapons by withdrawing their similar weapons from Europe, but this would only damage the integrity of Western security.
