Lawyers prepare for the year 2000
Article Abstract:
The legal industry is anticipating a flood of business once the clock ticks over into the year 2000, as class-action and individual lawsuits begin to appear. The irony is that the industry itself is having a difficult time preparing for the big date change. Also, despite the large number of anticipated cases, it is estimated that less then 10% of law firms have anyone specializing in Y2K issues.
