A chronology is presented on the development of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. story regarding tire tread separation and resulting accidents. The chronology begins with a a lawyer's conversation regarding such an accident, and includes the information gathering process, such as interviews, court records, accident reports, and data obtained from the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin Web site.

DNA testing: study calls into question long-trusted lab results
Article Abstract:
The cases involving DNA and other type of forensic testing done by the police lab from the Houston Police Department are examined. It was found that they make serious mistakes in their tests and their interpretation of those tests during trial testimony, which may have put the innocent in prison and let the guilty go free.
