A cancer in decline: diet change and rectal examinations pay off
Article Abstract:
Colon cancer is the third most lethal of the cancers. In 1997 in Canada, 16,400 people may be diagnosed with it. But colonoscopy, a diagnostic method used to study colon polyps, gives a pre-cancer diagnosis. Although it may have a genetic base, colon cancer risk is deceased through low-fat diets.
