Stakeholder management theory: a critical theory perspective
Article Abstract:
A normative Stakeholder Management Theory (SHMT) is developed to show the importance of normative theory for business ethics. This normative SHMT focuses on the theoretical task of elaborating and justifying normative obligations. Concerns about the adequacy of normative (SHMT) are addressed by establishing requirements for a theoretically sufficient method for the normative analysis of stakeholder management and by illustrating the outlines of a specific normative theory of stakeholder management that can meet these requirements.

The infelicities of business ethics in the third world: the Melanesian context
Article Abstract:
A third area of concern in business ethics, in addition to the two types of ethical problems, namely genuine ethical dilemmas and compliance problems, is presented in the context of business practices in Melanesia. This third area is not concerned with deciding between competing moral principles or values, attempting to comply with known principles, or imparting determinate content to vague imperfect principles of obligation. In this problem, the agent does not recognize the normative structure that supports the chosen options.
