One man's voyage to the future

Article Abstract:

Jim Clark came from a very humble background, but now has a fortune estimated at $3 billion. He is the only man in US history to have founded three billion-dollar companies: Silicon Graphics, Netscape and Healthion. He remained relatively unknown, but this is gradually changing since he came to the attention of journalist Michael Lewis, who is analyzing Silicon Valley through Clark's experiences. Clark does not feel that Lewis necessarily portrays him very flatteringly, but accepts that the picture Lewis presents is balanced and quite fair.
