Tutu angry as ANC tries to gag report

Article Abstract:

South Africa's African National Congress (ANC) attempted to prevent publication of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's (TRC's) report into the human rights abuses committed during the years of apartheid because of allegations that the ANC and the apartheid regime had each committed such abuses. Archbishop Desmond Tutu claimed the ANC's move showed it to be as tyranical and as willing to abuse power as the previous administration. The TRC was set up by the ANC. Winnie Mandela, leader of the Zulu Inkatha Freedom party Mangosuthu Buthelezi and former President PW Botha were identified as perpetrators.

Home Computer

Article Abstract:

Computer shops use jargon and are unhelpful to those ignorant about technology. Most assistants and customers are male. Prices vary tremendously for the same functions. Computer salesmen recommend more expensive systems than are necessary for the customers' requirements. An assistant who can explain the jargon to the unititiated is rare. Mail order telephone enquiries are no more productive, although telephone advice is often available after purchase.
