Alternative organizational models in home care
Article Abstract:
The organizational structure of home care services is affected by several factors beyond function such as strategic focus; corporate structure of the sponsor, licensure, certification and accreditation; and industry norms. Factors that contribute to the success of home care providers include clarity of role, external market focus, ability to track costs, ability to document positive outcomes, organizational responsiveness and flexibility and ability to negotiate contracts. There is no ideal organizational model in home care because of the ever changing factors that affect the sector.

Multiple subregion allocation models
Article Abstract:
The land-allocation problem is a component of urban planning that deals with the choice of a set of goods from a limited number of competing goods for the satisfaction of a particular land-use goal. An extension of the model dealing with multiple areas is formulated. Among several formulations presented is a nonlinear discrete optimization model that is applied to a specific districting problem. Algorithms are derived and computational procedures are explained.

Individuals and dyads in a multiple-cue judgment task: Cognitive processes and performance
Article Abstract:
A study is undertaken to examine in a multiple-cue judgment task if people acquire rule or exemplar knowledge as a function of learning the task lone or in dyads. The result suggests more accurate judgment by dyads, evidence for an exemplar pooling effect, but no evidence for the social abstraction effect.
