The financing of business start-ups

Article Abstract:

Studies done on the determinants of capital structure and the use of financing around business start-up is discussed. Results show linkages among the providers of finance, maturity of assets, the capital structure of start-ups and also reveals that the influence of firm characteristics on the type of financing plays a significant role both in demand and supply sides of financing for new ventures.
