There has been a considerable amount of litigation involving toxic mold in the US. An estimated 3 mil homes in the UK could be affected by toxic mold. UK architects could become affected by the toxic mold situation because litigation is becoming more commonplace in the UK and toxic mold concerns are addressed in Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994.
