Austria: Third bidder for ATB

Article Abstract:

The last step to complete the total privatisation of the Austrian state association for industrial political measures (GBI) , the sale of engine producer Austria Antriebstechnik ATB, has been postponed due to a third offer being considered. Previously the offers being considered were by Mirko Kovats and Global Equity Partners. All three companies are being given the opportunity to revise their offers, thus the sale of ATB may bring in more money for GBI than expected.
