Executives from clothing designer Calvin Klein have set up the Lighthouse Fashion company in Madrid, Spain, which has the franchise to open retail stores throughout Spain, except Cataluna, under the contract signed with cK Retail International Europe. In September 1998 Lighthouse will open its first establishment in Madrid. A second will open in Bilbao sometime in the fall. By the end of 1998 Lighthouse hopes to open ten clothing stores featuring jeans, accessories, pret-a-porter and underwear. The company also plans to open in-store corners and a jeans warehouse.
