COMMERCIAL EXPLOSIVES (INDIA) LIMITED

Commercial Explosives (India) Ltd of Nagpur was established in 1943 and was crucial in supplying explosives to the domestic coal mining industry which was facing shortages due to disruption in supplies from England. It has recently entered into an alliance with IDL Chemicals of Hyderabad. The company has a dedicated team in manufacturing and marketing and has been able to consistently meet export delivery schedules and quality standards. (khr)

IHC SELLS US HOTELS FOR $161 MILLION

Article Abstract:

Indian Hotels Company Ltd has sold its properties in New York and Chicago for $161 million. Sabra Investments of the US has acquired the 715 room Lexington Hotel in New York for $105 million while the Leyland group has acquired the 320 room Executive Plaza in Chicago for $56 million. (rk)
