No news is good news for Russia's CTC TV

Article Abstract:

Instead, it aims to appeal to youth with its airing of popular American television shows, blockbuster movies, celebrity profiles, and costume dramas. Unlike the several Russian broadcasters that have come under government attack since President Vladimir Putin took office, CTC has remained safely off the political radar.
