Small business, small mind

Article Abstract:

The new Small Business Service of the UK government should foster the development of business which are ripe for investment, an area which needs addressing at the end of 1999. Contrary to popular belief, a lot of good projects do not receive adequate funding. It is not the size of a company which is important, but innovation and growth. Venture capital companies have not been funding investments of under 250,000 pounds sterling and are not influencing the growth enterprise economy.

One wallet for the world

Article Abstract:

The internet will have significant repercussions for the world economy. Indeed, it could even lead to the creation of a single world currency as small companies and individuals begin to enjoy new economic freedoms. It will become impossible for a government to defend a national currency, and the electronic economy will gradually take over the physical one. It may be wise to consider merging the dollar and the euro to create a new single world currency.
