Snohetta: A northern light

Article Abstract:

The Oslo-based Norwegian architectural firm, Snohetta, has earned international fame following many important competition wins to design significant cultural buildings. Some of the firm's architectural successes include the huge library in Alexandria, Egypt, Turner Contemporary center in Margate, Oslo Opera House and the upcoming cultural building in the World Trade Center redevelopment.

Soane house future in turmoil

Article Abstract:

Pell Wall Hall, the last country house built by John Soane, is undergoing restoration. Members of the Pell Wall Hall Preservation Trust, which rescued the derelict building, are unhappy with the restoration proposals put in by the new owners.
