Univision agrees to acquire U.S. TV stations for $1.1 billion

Vivendi seeks control of USA assets

Vivendi Universal S.A. is negotiating with USA Networks Inc. to make a deal that would give it control of USA's entertainment assets while at the same time, decreasing its share of the parent firm. USA would get a controlling stake in USA Networks L.L.C.
