Recycled sneakers with sole

Article Abstract:

Nike Inc., with its savvy marketing program, has released its new line of partially recycled athletic shoes for greater environmental cooperation. This has begun with the All Conditions Gear outdoor shoes, since its market has more environmentally conscious customers, and is so far limited to new but defective Nikes. However, Nike Inc. is willing to release to others, without charge, the specific technique required for the recycling process once its patent is approved. Rival companies have already expressed interest. The shoes' exact recyling process is also summarized.

The Swatchmobile

Article Abstract:

Swatch and Volkswagen have formed SMH-Volkswagen AG, a joint company to make the Swatchmobile, an electric car to meet increasing anti-pollution standards, with mass production slated for 1996. Swatch, which will oversee the car's marketing, will also have significant input in its design so as to alter the general public's perception regarding battery-powered cars. This unorthodox type of joint venture is expected to be more prevalent in the constantly competitive automobile industry, as other sectors are consulted.
