NETHERLANDS: DEEGE CONCENTRATES PAINT PRODUCTION

Article Abstract:

Within the Dutch Deege Coating Groep, Deege Coating Industrie BV has started up a new production plant in Moerdijk. The new facility will take over from Aluminum Coating Nederland BV, which closed production in Rotterdam at the beginning of October 1998; from Deege Metaalfinishing BV, which closed a month later; and from the Etten-Leur factory that will close at the beginning of December 1998.

MEXICO: PINTURAS OSEL TO INCREASE PRODUCTION

Mexican Monterey-based Pinturas Osel is to spend US$ 3mn on expanding production capacity by 30% to 26mn litres per year by the end of 1999. Pinturas Osel is planning to increase production by 25% in 1999, following a 45% hike in 1998.
