Article Abstract:

The structural landscape between the tetrahedral and planar carbon with the fenestranes as prototypical structures is explored both computationally and experimentally. The basic feature for stabilization is interaction of the planar carbon with four ligands, which have [sigma]-donating concomitant with [pi]-accepting properties.

Hydrocarbyl ligand transformations on heterobimetallic complexes

Article Abstract:

The transformation and reactions of hydrocarbyl ligands on transition metal heterobimetallic templates are described. A wide range of carbon-hydrogen and carbon-carbon bond formation and bond cleavage is studied and it is seen that most transition metals are well represented in heterobimetallic reactions.
