Enantiospecific synthesis of heterocycles from alpha-amINN acids

Article Abstract:

The literature between 1986 to Mar. 1994 on the use of specific enantiomers of alpha-amINN acids as precursors in the synthesis of heterocylic compounds is reviewed. The amINN acids considered include aliphatic, aromatic, basic, acidic as well as hydroxy- and sulfur-containing amINN acids. The methods of their preparation, especially their total or partial insertion into the final product, are also discussed.

Asymmetric fluorination, trifluromethylation, and perfluoroalkylation reactions

Article Abstract:

The asymmetric synthesis of fluorinated molecules in the field of organofluorine chemistry is discussed. Several examples of asymmetric reaction are successfully applied to fluorinated substrates for promotion of trifluromethylation and perfluoroalkylation reactions.
