3-D copy system serves visually impaired

Minolta Company Ltd. offers the new three-dimensional Partner Vision 2051 copier system. The new Partner Vision 2051 copier system utilizes a special heat-sensitive paper and generates for handicapped persons three-dimensional copies of documents such as graphs, maps and pictures. The new three-dimensional Partner Vision 2051 copier helps visually-impaired users by producing three-dimensional copies that feature raised portions for the original copy's dark portions.

Sharp Corp of Japan has introduced its Pro Series and Conference Series projectors. The Pro Series PG-D120 portable projector offers SVGA resolution and 700 ANSI lumens of uniform brightness, while the PG-210 offers XGA resolution and 1,000 ANSI lumens. The Conference Series XG- E350OU and XG-300U projectors feature Sharp's proprietary Intelligent Image ACE Resizing technology for compatibility with SXGA computers.

Digital camera records quality moving, still images

Article Abstract:

Toshiba Corp has introduced the Allegretto M5 digital camera. The model features a 2.14-million pixel CCD and a 3x optical zoom to record at intervals of less than 1 second, and can record and replay up to 2 minutes of moving images. The camera works at four frames per second in the continuous recording mode. It connects to computers through a dedicated cable kit that supports rapid image transfers.
