Centimark forms alliance with GAF Materials Corp

Article Abstract:

Roofing contractor Centimark Corp has formed a strategic partnership with GAF Materials Corp, a Wayne, NJ-based maker of roofing materials. David Harrison, Senior VP of GAF Materials, said the company is delighted to be given the chance to sell Centimark's steep slope systems to large commercial property owners. Harrison added that commercial property owners can avoid the troubles associated with the installation of roofing systems since Centimark offers superior product performance and warranty coverage. Moreover, the steep slope systems would be installed by a Master Elite contractor.

But finding the applicators for installing these singles will be more difficult than finding the shingles for some contractors. Until the shortage is resolved, contractors might watch for contracts that penalize them for missing deadlines and insert protective clauses. The reasons for the shortage in laminated shingles is discussed.
