Combined IBEX seems ready to hit its stride

Article Abstract:

The partnering of the Cramer's magazine with the National Marine Manufacturers Association for the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference(IBEX) scheduled from 24th-27thOctober at Miami Beach Convention Center, has benefitted boat builders in two ways. The trade show termed to be the world's biggest boat show, has increased space for exhibits and has companies around the globe taking greater interest in participating.The positive influence of the merger and the plans organisers have for future shows has been discussed.

Gypsy jamboree: it's a portable trade show

Tennesse based William F. Miller & Associates devised a novel concept of taking the boat building trade shows to the doorsteps of the boat building companies and their suppliers. This effectiveness of the scheme is evaluated by various industry personnel.

2004: more demand than supply

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show has received record number of visitors and reported record sales. It is an indication for the upswing expected in the boating industry and the expectations are strengthened by the overall economic recovery.
