Totty set firmly on its feet

Article Abstract:

David Jackson, chairman of Totty Construction Group, Bradford, England-based contractor, plans to expand the company into specialist contracting and building products. Currently, talks with a flooring company and a concrete repair specialist are taking place. Jackson led a management buyout of Totty in 1990, in a 2.1 million pounds sterling deal with backing from venture capital companies 3i and County Natwest, which acquired a 33% stake. Financial results for Mar 1992 are set to show a loss, but Jackson plans a turnover of 100 million pounds sterling and a profit of five million pounds sterling by 1995.
