How2.con debuts BTB campaign; effort targets retailers, manufacturers and service providers

How2.com's new integrated business-to-business marketing campaign that includes direct mail, online advertising and print ads will be launched in Apr 2000. The Dallas, TX-based customer care service provider hopes to convince Fortune 500 firms to outsource their post purchase customer care services through the campaign. How2.com is also launching direct response print ads which will be featured in trade publications.

Trans Union, Acxiom finish service test

Article Abstract:

Trans Union, a Dallas, TX-based credit bureau, and Acxiom of Conway, AR, have introduced their joint suppression database and address verification service called TransAcxiom E.D.I.T. The program passes mail files or order applications through three screening processes. They include the shared suppression database, Acxiom's Infobase verification system and TransUnion's demographic address verification file. The launch follows the completion of the program's validation testing for the past few months. The testing was done with 13 firms through a database of several million names compiled by participating companies.
