Jordan Rednor, president of DraftWorldwide, said Draft Digital would be an integrated department that would lead the company's digital efforts to clients. The company move follows its acquisition of Capita Technologies, a firm involved in systems design, architecture, programming and supply-chain system integration.

Snyder buys German pharmaceutical firm as seventh European acquisition

Snyder Communications continues with its European expansion as it acquired MKM Marketing, a German pharmaceutical marketing company, for $58 million. The deal represents Snyder's first German acquisition and seventh European acquisition since 1997. CEO Daniel Snyder said the company is still contemplating more acquisitions in Germany and in other markets. The MKM acquisition is in line with Snyder's goal to become the world's leading marketer of pharmaceutical products, said Snyder. Snyder expects his company's direct marketing expertise to be an advantage as more pharmaceutical manufacturers adopt the direct marketing approach.
