Japanese cosmetics maker targets American women

Mail order cosmetics and health manufacturer and marketer FANCL Cosmetics of Japan has launched a wide range of products in the US. The products, which include toiletries and soluble green trea, are targetting the American women market. The company has tapped Hemisphere Marketing Inc of San Francisco, CA, to handle the campaign which will involve print advertising and banner ads on the Web.

LLKFB wins two clients, adds unit

Lieber Levett Koenig Farese and Babcock of New York has added a new subsidiary into its operations as it secured two assignments for Morristown, NJ-based Dendrite Software and Hayward Pool Products Inc. of Elizabeth, NJ. The contracts are anticipated to generate combined billings of $7 million to $10 million. LLKFB will oversee consumer and trade advertising, sales and support materials and Web development as agency of record for Hayward. Dendrite hired the agency to help in boosting its visibility in the US through corporate advertising. LLFKB's new unit will focus on delivering the awareness created by mainstream television with the accountability carried from DRTV.
