Georgia-based boat dealer Southern Sailing Center's owner, Philip Eastman, is offering customers a 30-day money-back guarantee for its products. The offer is rare in the boat dealer business, yet Eastman believes that his fledgling business can prosper by focusing on customer satisfaction and says that he has sufficient capital to finance the money-back policy while expanding product selection. Eastman is a 41-year-old entrepreneur who prospered in the health care business.

Acquisition gives Revenge a fledgling retail network

Article Abstract:

Miami, FL-based boatbuilding and repair firm Revenge Marine Inc has completed the acquisition of Safety Harbor, FL-based dealer First Chance Marine Finance in an initial step to build a retail network. The latter will become an independent subsidiary of the former. First Chance, which sells four boat lines through six dealerships across Florida, is expected to significantly bolster the cash position of Revenge Marine and its ability to attract investment capital.
