Article Abstract:

The outrageously flamboyant design of the Judge Institute of Management Studies building at the University of Cambridge, by John Outram, whose architectural design is well known for its eccentricity, uses a range of new approaches to the use of space and buildings technology. The building covers 9000 square metres and cost 11 million pounds sterling to build. It is comprised of four blocks: the existing hospital ward; the ark; the castle; and the gallery.
