The exhibitors demand relief

The issues addressed by the Exhibitors Statement petition include paying a portion of IBEX's revenue to National Marine Manufacturers Association NMMA) to support NMMA's administration activities and submitting to independent third-party arbitration if IBEX does not agree with the petition. Despite the nonpublic negotiations of more than a year, the conflict continues.

Fort Lauderdale exhibitors defy bad economy

Evinrude, Johnson and Chris-Craft launched new products at the Fort Lauderdale boat show. Although attendance was slightly down from the 2000 show it did exceed expectations.
