SAS Solution analyzes online behavior

SAS Inc of Cary, NC, is launching a software and services solution called SAS Solution for e-intelligence in Feb 2000. The new product is aimed at enhancing companies' understanding of online behavior and personalizing marketing responses. It will also allow the data warehouse and decision support firm to own more of the process and compete with other software vendors in the field.

USPS approves Pitney Bowes' online stamp solution

Article Abstract:

Pitney Bowes Inc will introduce its ClickStamp Online Internet postage solution for small businesses after it received approval from the US Postal Service (USPS). The product, which is part of the USPS's PC Postage program, offers an instant access to postage through the Internet. Small businesses can use a PC, an Internet connection and an inkjet or laser printer to print Priority Mail, Express Mail, First-Class Mail and Parcel Post postage as well as handle mail listsd, calculate postage and verify addresses.

Xchange unveils Web CRM solution; Allstate signs on

Xchange Inc has launched a Web-based customer relationship management (CRM) solution, called Xchange 7, intended to utilize a company's previous CRM investments to synchronize activities and make customer relationship profitable. Scheduled to ship by the end of 1st qtr 2001, Xchange 7 offers a number of new features, such as personal home pages, e-mail alerts, guided work flow wizards and several improvements to Xchange Real Time.
