Tell players rules of the game

Article Abstract:

There has been a shift in UK universities towards encouraging students to take responsibility for their own development, understanding and progress. However, many universities still give little attention to helping first year students who are experiencing difficulties with their course. Lecturers should not assume that first year students have appropriate study skills or are able to structure an academic essay correctly. It is worth taking time to assist first year students in these areas, thus ensuring that they do not waste too much time.

Hooked on the killing game

Article Abstract:

UK research shows that 14-20% of women prostitutes inject drugs. European figures reveal that the number with HIV infection increases when they are injecting drugs. Many of the UK prostitutes required their clients to use condoms, and did not wish to indulge in anal sex, the activity with the highest risk of HIV infection. Some researchers in this field feel that given all this information prostitution is unlikely to lead to a great increase in AIDS/HIV.
