Fluid thrust fast reverses non stop

Article Abstract:

An award-winning invention for reversing thruster force may prove useful in hydraulics, general plant stirring operations and airflow control. Neville Marsh of Genevator Design gained a placing at the Innovator 2000 awards for the second time with this new invention. The mechanism involves the movement of a shroud back and forth over a centrifugal impeller which has paddle-shaped vanes. Although it is only in the early stages of development, the award presenter envisaged a potential use on high manoeuvrability aircraft which currently uses a crude method of thrust reversal.
