How and when to select a wetlands expert

Article Abstract:

Guidelines for selecting a wetlands expert for construction projects are presented. Trust is crucial in selecting the right wetlands expert who will be put in charge of the wetland permitting process. They should be able to offer practical advice and should be able to work with other engineers. Project managers should evaluate how many years of field experience they have and how many wetlands permits they have completed. They should ask for client references and check their educational background.
