Simple system, does the job

Article Abstract:

Calibration laboratories may find DOS-based programs efficient in meeting their information needs. Nationwide Gage Calibration Inc, for instance, has maintained the use of DOS database and word-processing programs for eight years without sacrificing accuracy and clarity in its records. Unlike other complicated software which run on specific types of platforms, these programs can easily be accessed to Windows-based systems. By allowing customers to fill up a requirements checklist, Nationwide has maintained the simplicity and flexibility of its operations.
