Zinc reclaiming process ramps up

Article Abstract:

Bioponic International has started using its MR3 metals and minerals reclamation equipment in its Butte, MT facility. The facility turns solid waste into a slurry, which then goes through metal recovery modules. In each module targeted metals are selectively removed from the slurry. Recovered metals are then converted into non-waste metal product. The MR3 is ideal for contaminated waste materials since it produces a micronutrient with lower heavy metals and residuals.
