Rosemount bought Ryecroft for the purpose of making certain they will have sufficient grapes to continue producing their excellent Shiraz wines. Rosemount will be marketing their Shiraz, as well as their Chardonnay, in the US in Apr 1993 for approximately $8 per bottle.
