Stop the fraud and greed in Tuscany

Article Abstract:

The fraud squad's seizure of southern Italian wine labelled as Tuscan wine has confirmed the rumours that they illegally contain non-Tuscan varieties. Tighter regulations and greater honesty is needed to maintain the reputation of Tuscan and Italian wine.

Bright spots in a dull region

The Veneto region of Italy has much to offer with beautiful scenery and some very good wine. The best reds and whites come from a handful of producers while the rest produce quantity rather than quality.
