My Italy, then and now: a noted travel writer's culinary journey

A travel writer describes his passion for Italian cuisine which started when he was 19 years old and was taken to Italy by the British army. He realizes the simplicity and ascetism of Italian foods and also remembers moments with with friends in crossroads trattorias or village inns.
