DiFi as Veep?

Article Abstract:

Senator Dianne Feinstein has positive relations with her fellow senators. However, she is persistent in fiercely defending her beliefs, and some observers feel that this would make it hard for her to accept the vice presidential nomination if it were offered to her, as she would not be able to compromise on her convictions. She is running for re-election to the Senate in 2000, and it would be difficult for her to run for both offices at the same time. However, some observers believe that a combination of Feinstein and Al Gore has the potential to be extremely successful.

Barbara boxer

Article Abstract:

Barbara Boxer inched her way from being a 'stranger in the Senate' to one of the most popular figures in the Upper Chamber. Boxer has always been good at exposing several irregularities being committed by some erring public officials. She has taken steps to change her image as a big liberal Demands for new government initiatives have been replaced by moderate sounding talk of a balanced budget, and Boxer's recent legislation focuses on inexpensive and healthy regulations. Though still early to tell, Boxer is very optimistic on her second term victory.
