Article Abstract:

The association of the long (TA)(sub n) dinucleotide repeat allele with blunted endothelial tissue-type plasminogen activator release in healthy postmenopausal women is discussed. Significantly higher amount of tissue-type plasminogen activator antigen is released in the short allele group as compared to the long and mixed allele groups.

Article Abstract:

A study is undertaken to assess baseline endometrial molecular events in the ATAC (Arimidex, tamoxifen, alone, or in combination) trial of breast cancer adjuvant therapy. It is concluded that although all patients were asymptomatic, some had endometrial pathology.

Aberrant methylation at HOXA10 may be responsible for its aberrant expression in the endometrium of patients with endometriosis

Article Abstract:

The cause of aberrant expression of HOXA10 is examined. Aberrant methylation at HOXA10 is observed in the endometrium of women with endometriosis probably causing the aberrant gene expression.
