Ergonomics: truth or fiction?

Article Abstract:

J. Steven Moore of Texas A&M University in College Station says ergonomics literature is currently limited with current trends needing further research before being adopted into standards. Moore maintains that there is no consensus on exposure and related factors in ergonomics and that there is an increase in conditions more related to personal factors than workplace environments. Labor and management, however, can work in concert to develop reasonable ergonomics solutions.
