The workplace learning and performance (WLP) field is experiencing a revolution that requires practitioners to be as knowledgeable about business as they are about learning and instruction thus turning several WLP professionals back to educational institutions to earn MBAs. Four basic choices for an MBA program that include residential, night or part-time, executive, and online are discussed in brief.

When to use instructional technology

Article Abstract:

Every trainer who is new to online learning needs a primer that introduces the concepts of instructional technology in an easy-to-read fashion. Trainers are advised to take an online course with the intent of analyzing what works best for online instruction and recommendations are provided regarding joining professional organizations and finding a mentor.
