The 'third way': the future of work and organization in a 'corporatized' Chinese economy

Article Abstract:

The introduction of liberalization in 1979 has led the Chinese economy to grow rapidly, changing too the forms of ownership from state to private, foreign-owned and hybrid public/private industries. It has been noted that the foreign-owned (FIEs) are faster paced than those state-owned (SOEs) due to being hampered by government interference and lethargy.
